YBKC - Broadband Center

The Yassini Broadband Knowledge Center is a $10 million, state-of-the-art broadband research center located at historic 79 Newbury Street in Boston. It features a hands-on learning environment, tightly focused on working in first intelligent building in the country.

Activities planned for the center are:

New technology research and innovation
Executive scholar and educational training
A meeting place for entrepreneurs, scientists and policy makers
A broadband industry Think Tank for students, teachers, and innovators
Corporate America’s “office of the future”

is the nation’s first fully operational broadband-based intelligent building. The center leverages IP technology for all communications services and is envisioned as a nexus for advanced broadband research, cross industry collaboration, and public education on the ability of broadband to positively impact humanity worldwide.
